In the first game of the season the Trojans showed off their new offense, defense, and all of the hard work that they have put in in the offseason. Leading the way for the Trojans on offense was Camron Neeley who ran the ball 6 times for 169 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also completed 3 of 3 passes for 58 yards and 2 touchdowns. Alfred Daniel ran the ball 2 times for 60 yards and 2 touchdowns. Alfred also completed 2 of 2 passes for 59 yards. Coty Marlatt ran the ball 5 times for 59 yards and a touchdown. Coty also completed 1 of 1 passes for 15 yards, and had 1 reception for 14 yards. Dalton Sizemore ran the ball 7 times for 45 yards and had 1 reception for 17 yards. Griffin McIlvain ran the ball 9 times for 32 yards and touchdown. Brayden Kletz had 1 reception for 33 yards and a touchdown. Collin Fritz had 1 reception for 45 yards. Austin Keefover had 1 rush for 7 yards and 1 reception for 8 yards and a touchdown. Ethan White had 1 reception for 15 yards.
On defense the Trojans were led by Ethan White with 6 tackles. Dalton Sizemore added 5 tackles and a sack, Brayden Kletz also had 5 tackles, as did Brandon Stevens, Griffin McIlvain, and Andrew Kasten who also had an interception that he returned for a touchdown. The Trojans recovered 4 fumbles and had 1 interception.
The Trojans will travel to play the Rebels of South Newton next Friday.
